親 PIN を忘れた時
親 PIN は端末の中で暗号化して保存されており、当社がお調べすることはできません。そのかわり、あらかじめご用意いただいた手段で、ご自身で再設定していただけます。PIN 入力画面の「PIN を忘れた」からお進みください。
1. 認証アプリの数字で再設定する
親 PIN を決めた直後に認証アプリをご登録いただいている場合は、こちらが最短の道です。
- PIN 入力画面で「PIN を忘れた」を選びます。
- ご登録いただいた認証アプリ（Google 認証システム、パスワード管理アプリ等）に表示されている 6 桁の数字を入力します。数字は 30 秒ごとに変わります。
- 新しい親 PIN をその場で設定します。ブロックの設定、予定、一時的な変更は消えません。
※ 認証アプリは、お子さまが触れない別の端末か、パスワード管理アプリに入れてご利用ください。制限をかけている端末そのものに入れると、数字をお子さまが読めてしまいます。
2. 秘密の質問で再設定する
認証アプリをご利用にならない場合の道です。設定時にご自身で書いた 3 つの質問すべてにお答えいただくと、親 PIN を再設定できます。
- PIN 入力画面で「PIN を忘れた」を選び、秘密の質問を選びます。
- 3 つの答えを入力します。大文字と小文字、前後の空白は区別しません。
- お間違いが続いた場合は、次にお試しいただけるまでの待ち時間が延びます。しばらく経ってから再度お試しください。
3. どちらもご用意がない場合
認証アプリも秘密の質問もご登録がない場合、当社から親 PIN をお知らせする方法はありません。この場合は、端末をセーフモードで起動し、Live Lock を削除してください。セーフモードでは Live Lock は動作しないため、通常どおり設定画面と削除の操作を行えます。
- 電源ボタンを長押しし、表示された「電源を切る」を長押しします。
- 「セーフモードで再起動」の確認が出たら、これを選びます。
- 再起動後、設定のアプリ一覧から Live Lock を削除します。
- もう一度電源を入れ直すと、通常のモードに戻ります。
※ 操作の名前と順序は端末によって異なります。お手元の端末の取扱説明書、または端末メーカーの案内もあわせてご確認ください。削除するとブロックの設定は失われます。
この手順をお使いいただかずに済むよう、親 PIN を決めた直後に、認証アプリか秘密の質問のいずれかのご登録をおすすめしています。アプリ内の設定画面からいつでもご登録いただけます。
遠隔で切り替える
出先から今日の設定を変えたい時、親御様がいつもお使いのカレンダーに予定を置くだけで済みます。予定の名前がそのままモードの名前になり、その時間帯だけ切り替わります。新しくアカウントを作る必要も、別の管理画面を覚える必要もありません。手元にお子さまの端末が無い時間でも、決めたことが届きます。
はじめて使う時の手順
- お子さまのアカウントで、専用のGoogleカレンダーを作ります。
- 親御様のGoogleメールアドレスへ、予定を編集できる権限で共有します。親御様は届いたメールの案内から追加します。
- お子さまの端末で Live Lock の「遠隔で切り替える」を開き、そのカレンダーを選びます。Live Lockが同期と表示を有効にして、更新を要求します。アカウントの確認画面が出たら、選んだカレンダーのアカウントを選択してください。
- Googleカレンダーや、予定を編集できるブラウザを、お子さまの端末のブロック対象に入れます。
簡単に始めるなら、お子さまの基本カレンダーを親御様へ編集権限で共有する方法も使えます。招待を受け取れないキッズアカウントでも、子ども側から親へ共有する向きで準備します。
アプリで作成・共有する場合
「カレンダーを作成・共有」が表示される版では、子どもの端末のGoogleアカウントを選び、親御様のGoogleメールアドレスを入力します。Googleの許可画面を経て、Live Lockが専用カレンダーを作り、親御様へ編集権限で共有します。親御様はメールの案内から追加し、子どもの端末では「このカレンダーを使う」へ進みます。途中で閉じても、記録がある準備は続きから再開できます。
作成・共有機能の提供状況は版により異なります。ボタンがない場合やGoogleへの許可を使わない場合も、上の方法で既存カレンダーを選び、遠隔で切り替えられます。アカウントによっては、Google側で保護者の許可が必要です。

予定の置き方
予定の名前が、そのままモードの名前になります。「完全ロック」と書けば、その時間帯は完全ロックになります。ご自身で名前を付けた設定の組合せも、同じ名前で書けば切り替わります。
予定を重ねなくてかまいません。重なった時は、新しく届いた予定が優先されます。
予定の無い時間は、端末の普段の設定に戻ります。カレンダーが読めない時も、普段の設定で動きます。
Googleの同期には時間がかかる場合があります。「予定を取りに行く」から再取得を要求できます。同期の開始と到着は端末・通信状態にも左右されます。圏外になっても、最後に届いた予定で動き続けます。
親御様ご自身の端末でも
ご自身のカレンダーを選べば、ご自身の予定の間だけアプリが閉じます。会議の時間だけ、通知の多いアプリを閉じておくという使い方ができます。
よくある質問
ブロックしている間、音楽や通知も止まりますか。
止まりません。Live Lock が閉じるのは画面だけで、アプリそのものは動いたままです。音楽の再生、通知の受信、Bluetooth 機器との接続、健康データの記録は続きます。お子さまに端末をお渡しした後も、保護者の方の連絡や記録は途切れません。
子供が Live Lock を消してしまうことはありませんか。
保護者が設定すれば、アイコンの長押しメニューや設定画面も閉じる対象にできます。設定の変更はすべて親 PIN の内側にあります。
Google Family Link と一緒に使えますか。
併用できます。Family Link が扱うのは使用時間とインストールの承認で、Live Lock が扱うのは画面に触れた後の動きです。役割が重ならないため、両方を入れたままお使いいただけます。
大画面（Samsung DeX）でも使えますか。
使えます。外部モニターに映した大画面の環境でも、スマホの画面と同じように動きます。キーボードとマウスをつないだ状態でも同じです。
何台の端末で使えますか。
ご契約は端末（Google アカウント）ごとです。お子さまの端末が 2 台ある場合は、それぞれにご契約が必要です。
無料で試せますか。
無料でお試しいただける期間があります。期間の長さと料金は Google Play の表示をご確認ください。お試し期間の終了前に解約された場合、ご請求は発生しません。お試しを始める際に、Google Play がお支払い方法の登録をお求めになります。
遠隔で設定を変えられますか。
変えられます。親御様がいつもお使いのカレンダーに予定を置くと、その時間帯だけ予定の名前のモードに切り替わります。新しくアカウントを作る必要はありません。手順は遠隔で切り替えるをご覧ください。
子供が使った内容は外部に送られますか。
現在提供中のバージョンでは、画面の判定に使う情報も、遠隔からの切替のために読んだ予定の名前と時間も、端末の中だけで扱います。弊社のサーバーが受け取ることはありません。詳細はプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。
解約はどこから行いますか。
Google Play ストアのメニューから「定期購入」を開き、Live Lock を選んで解約いただけます。買い切りでお求めの場合、解約の操作は不要です。
機種を変えたら、購入は引き継げますか。
買い切りでお求めの内容は Google アカウントに結び付いています。同じアカウントでログインし、アプリの購入画面にある「購入を復元する」をお試しください。

If you forgot the parent PIN
The parent PIN is stored encrypted on the device, and we cannot look it up. Instead, you reset it yourself with whichever method you set up in advance. Start from Forgot the PIN on the PIN screen.
1. Reset with an authenticator code. If you registered an authenticator app right after choosing the parent PIN, this is the shortest path. Choose Forgot the PIN, enter the six digit code shown in your authenticator app (the code changes every 30 seconds), then set a new parent PIN. Your block settings, schedules and temporary changes are kept. Please keep the authenticator on a separate device that your child does not use, or in a password manager — on the restricted device itself, your child could read the code.
2. Reset with the secret questions. This is the path if you prefer not to use an authenticator app. Answer all three questions you wrote yourself, and you can set a new parent PIN. Upper and lower case and surrounding spaces are ignored. After repeated wrong answers, the wait before the next attempt grows longer, so please try again after a while.
3. If you set up neither. If neither an authenticator app nor the secret questions were registered, we have no way to tell you the parent PIN. In that case, start the device in safe mode and remove Live Lock. Live Lock does not run in safe mode, so the settings screen and the removal work as usual. Press and hold the power button, then press and hold Power off; when asked to reboot to safe mode, accept; after the restart, remove Live Lock from the app list in Settings; power the device off and on again to leave safe mode. The names and the order of these steps differ between devices, so please also check the manual or your device maker's guidance. Removing the app clears the block settings.
So that you never need this last path, we recommend registering either an authenticator app or the secret questions right after you choose the parent PIN. You can register them at any time from the settings screen inside the app.
Switch from anywhere
When you want to change today's setting while you are out, you place an event on the calendar you already use. The name of the event becomes the name of the mode, and it applies for those hours. There is no new account to create and no separate console to learn. Even when your child's phone is not in your hand, what you decide still reaches it.
Setting it up the first time. Create a dedicated Google calendar using the child's account, then share it with the parent's Google email address with permission to edit events. The parent adds it from the email invitation. In Live Lock on the child's device, open "Switch from a distance" and choose that calendar. Live Lock enables its syncing and visibility and requests updates. If asked to confirm an account, choose the calendar's account. Restrict Google Calendar and browsers that allow event editing on the child's device.
For a simpler setup, share the child's primary calendar with the parent with editing permission. Sharing from the child to the parent also works around a child account being unable to receive invitations. Find current creation and sharing instructions ↗
Creating and sharing in the app. On versions showing "Create and share a calendar", choose the child's account on the device and enter the parent's Google email address. After Google authorization, Live Lock creates the calendar and grants the parent permission to edit its events. The parent adds it from the email invitation, and the child device continues with "Use this calendar". A recorded setup can resume after the screen is closed.
Creation and sharing availability varies by version. If the button is absent or you do not grant Google access, you can still use an existing calendar and remote switching. Some accounts require parental permission through Google. The Privacy Policy describes the data used and how to revoke access.
Placing events. The name of the event becomes the name of the mode: write "Full lock" and those hours are fully locked. A named set of settings of your own works the same way, written with the same name. You do not need to overlap events; when they do overlap, the most recently arrived event wins. Outside the events, the phone returns to its usual setting, and it also runs on the usual setting when the calendar cannot be read. Google's syncing takes a few minutes, so an event you just placed may not show up right away. If the phone goes offline, it keeps running on the last events it received.
On your own phone too. Choose your own calendar, and apps close only during your own events — for instance, keeping the noisy apps shut for the length of a meeting.
Frequently asked questions
While an app is blocked, do music and notifications stop?
They do not stop. Live Lock closes only the screen, and the app itself keeps running. Music playback, notifications, Bluetooth connections and health tracking continue, so your own messages and records are not interrupted after you hand the phone over.
Can a child remove Live Lock?
If the parent chooses, the icon long press menu and the system settings screen can also be closed. Every setting change sits behind the parent PIN.
Can I use it together with Google Family Link?
Yes. Family Link handles screen time and install approval; Live Lock handles what happens once a screen is touched. The roles do not overlap, so you can keep both.
Does it work on a large screen such as Samsung DeX?
Yes. It behaves the same way on an external monitor as it does on the phone screen, including with a keyboard and mouse attached.
How many devices does one purchase cover?
A purchase belongs to one device (one Google account). If your children have two phones, each one needs its own.
Can I try it for free?
There is a free trial period. Please check Google Play for its length and for the price. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Google Play asks for a payment method when you start the trial.
Is what my child does sent anywhere?
In the version currently provided, the information used to decide what to close is handled inside the device only, and is neither sent outside nor stored by us. Please see the Privacy Policy for details.
Where do I cancel?
Open Subscriptions from the Google Play Store menu, choose Live Lock and cancel there. A one-time purchase needs no cancellation.
Can I keep my purchase when I change phones?
A one-time purchase belongs to your Google account. Sign in with the same account and press Restore a purchase on the purchase screen in the app.
